God Has Work For Us to Do: A Concert Tribute to Black History Month

Tomorrow, February 11, 2023, Vox Philia and Berks Sinfonietta come together for a musical tribute to Black History Month. They are joined by two regional collegiate choirs: the Albright Chamber Ensemble and the Lincoln University Concert Choir.

Audiences will hear an exciting evening of orchestral and choral music by black and African American composers, including Florence Price, Ysaye M. Barnwell, William Grant Still, Josephine Poelinitz, and many others.

The performance takes place on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 7:30 pm at Immanuel United Church of Christ, 99 S. Waverly Street, Shillington, PA 19607. Parking is available in the church lot and along the street.

Admission to the live performance is $15/Adult & $5/Students. Tickets are available at the door and online.
